United Kingdom - Permanent Residency - 10 Year Long Residency Concession (ILR)
To qualify under the Long Residency Concession for the United Kingdom, you must have held a VALID UK visa (in other words, resided in the UK legally), continuously, for the past 10 years. Furthermore, you must not have spent any periods in excess of 6 months (at one time) away from the UK and you must not have spent more than 18 months in total away during the 10 years.
A successful applicant must pass the Life in the UK test (unless over the age of 65).
