Ireland - Passport & Nationality - Naturalisation as Same-Sex Spouse
This solution allows the married partner (in a same-sex union) of an Irish Citizen to become Naturalised, assume Irish Citizenship and carry an Irish Passport.
There are several conditions further conditions, the main one's being:
- Be married to the Irish citizen for at least 3 years;
- Have a period of 1 year's continuous "reckonable residence" in the island of Ireland immediately before the date of your application; and
- Be living on the island of Ireland for at least 2 of the 4 years before that year of continuous residence
