STATUS OF LIBYA

Up until 01.11.1912, the British Crown exercised Extra Territorial Jurisdiction over Tripolitania and Cyrenaica.

At that date, Italy sovereignty was recognised and the crown influence ended.

Thereafter, Libya was considered a foreign country.
