From 23.01.1721, the British Crown exercised Extra Territorial Jurisdiction.

Regarding the Tangier Zone, this ended on 01.06.1925.

Regarding the French Zone, this ended on 01.01.1938.

Regarding the Spanish Zone, this ended on 06.12.1956.

As of those dates, the country was considered as a foreign country.
