STATUS OF SOUTH KOREA
From 28.04.1884 until 21.08.1910, the British Crown exercised Extra Territorial Jurisdiction over Korea (both South and North).
As from that date, Korea (both South Korea and North Korea) has been considered a foreign country.
South Koreans aged between 18-30 qualify for a Working Holiday Visa for Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Sweden and Taiwan.
