STATUS OF THAILAND

As from 18.04.1855, the British Crown exercised Extra Territorial Jurisdiction over Thailand.

This was terminated on 22.02.1940, at which point Thailand became a foreign country.

Thais aged between 18-30 qualify for a Working Holiday Visa for Australia and New Zealand.
